On this day, please be ready for an early start! You’ll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel by 6:30 AM to ensure a smooth and timely transfer to the Nairobi SGR train station. Your train to Mombasa is scheduled to depart at 8:00 AM sharp, so punctuality is key. You'll be traveling in First Class, where comfort and style come standard — enjoy spacious seating, air conditioning, and scenic views throughout the journey. A delicious lunch can be enjoyed en route, either from the train’s dining car(own expense) or pre-packed, allowing you to relax and soak in the experience. Upon arrival at the Mombasa SGR station, a friendly driver will be waiting to transfer you to your resort in Diani, where you will enjoy your evening listening to the calming ocean waves. Sit back and enjoy — your beach getaway begins in style!
You'll embark on an unforgettable adventure to Wasini Island & Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, where culture meets the ocean’s wonders! Cruise the turquoise waters aboard a traditional dhow as you spot dolphins dancing alongside the boat. You'll dive in a world of vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, colorful fish, and other rich marine life as you snorkel in crystal-clear waters. After your marine exploration, head to Wasini Island for a taste of Swahili culture — explore local villages, visit ancient coral gardens, and enjoy a delicious seafood lunch with coastal spices. You'll learn about the island’s history from welcoming locals and immerse yourself in the laid-back charm of island life. It’s a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and nature in one breathtaking day!
After breakfast, you'll enjoy your final morning at leisure. Activities include relaxing on the beach or by the pool, engaging in optional water sports, or indulging in optional rejuvenating Spa treatment (at
own expense) at your resort. Later, you'll check out. You will be transferred back to Mombasa for your train connection, taking you back to Nairobi city.
