Itinerary
At 7:00 AM, your Jupicon Expeditions driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel in a luxury 4x4 safari vehicle. You’ll begin your journey toward the Masai Mara, driving through the
scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley. A stop will be made at the Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you can take in sweeping panoramas and enjoy refreshments. Continue via Narok town, a bustling Maasai
hub, where you’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch(at your own expense) before proceeding into the Masai Mara. On arrival, you'll check in to your luxury camp and take time to relax, unwind, and soak in the tranquil surroundings, or opt for a brief evening game drive. Later in the evening, you'll enjoy a fine dining dinner experience under the stars before retiring for the night.
After an early breakfast, you'll set out for a full-day game drive across the Mara’s endless plains. You’ll explore the rich ecosystem that makes the Masai Mara one of the most sought-after safari
destinations. You'll track the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and countless antelope species. Around midday, you'll stop at the Mara River, where you’ll enjoy a luxury bush picnic lunch while observing hippos basking and crocodiles waiting beneath the surface. In the afternoon, you'll continue exploring different sections of the reserve, from open plains to wooded areas where elusive leopards may be spotted. As the sun sets, you'll capture golden-hued photos of wildlife before returning to your lodge. Dinner will be served with a touch of Maasai-inspired hospitality.
You'll wake up to the sounds of the bush and enjoy breakfast before setting out for another full day of exploration. The day's safari will take you deeper into the reserve, covering new ground and offering the chance to witness unique wildlife behaviors from lions on the hunt to elephants nurturing their young. Your guide will take you to less-traveled routes, increasing your chances of spotting rarer species such as bat-eared foxes, serval cats, and the endangered black rhino. You'll stop once again for a picnic lunch in the wild, enjoying the vastness of the savannah around you. In the late afternoon, you'll visit a scenic lookout point to watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the Mara plains in rich oranges and reds, a perfect luxury safari moment. In the evening, you will return to the camp for a final celebratory dinner and perhaps a nightcap by the bonfire.
After breakfast, you'll check out from your lodge and begin your return journey to Nairobi. On the way, you'll make a stop at Narok town for refreshments and an opportunity to purchase high-quality Maasai handicrafts, ideal as souvenirs (at your own cost). You'll continue with a scenic drive back, arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
