Itinerary
You will be picked up from your Nairobi accommodation in the morning by your Jupicon Expeditions driver. They will drop you safely at a common pick-up point and see you off in a shared 4x4 pop-up roof jeep. You will then drive south towards Amboseli, passing through scenic landscapes of the Kenyan countryside. On arrival at Nyati Safari Camp, check in and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive.
Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging elephants, often seen with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. You may also spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests,
and over 400 bird species. As the sun sets over the plains, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Explore the park’s diverse habitats, from swamp areas that attract hippos and waterbirds to open savannahs where predators
hunt. Amboseli offers excellent chances to spot the Big Five along with giraffes, jackals, ostriches, and even elusive caracals. Stop at observation points such as Enkongo Narok Swamp and lookout
hills for panoramic views. Break for a picnic lunch inside the park, then continue exploring until late afternoon. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the stars.
After breakfast, check out from Nyati Safari Camp and enjoy a relaxed drive back to Nairobi. On the way, you may stop for souvenirs or refreshments at local markets (at your own expense). Lunch will be on your own budget at a stopover restaurant along the route. Arrival in Nairobi is expected in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
