Arrival in Maasai Mara
- Arrive at the Maasai Mara Reserve, either by road from Nairobi or by flying into one of the nearby airstrips like Keekorok or Ol Kiombo.
Afternoon: Check-in and Lunch
- Check-in to your chosen accommodation (camp or lodge) and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Late Afternoon: Evening Game Drive
- Head out on your first game drive in the Maasai Mara. Game drives are usually conducted in open-top safari vehicles with experienced guides.
- Keep an eye out for the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as other wildlife like giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes. Enjoy a beautiful sunset in the savannah.
Evening: Dinner and Campfire
- Return to your accommodation for dinner.
- Many lodges and camps offer cultural experiences such as Maasai dance performances around a campfire.
Morning: Hot Air Balloon Safari (Optional)
